newbe question, motor swap

Is it possible and reasonable to put a 1986 motor into a 1981 sc? (Harnesses, electronics, body modifications required?)

Sure, some diff electronics but done all of the time.

No problem done all the time ! Direct bolt in some electronic modification to existing harness but
easily doable even DIY!!! Bert
