I agree - for example SSI's into a 2-inlet exhaust simply bolt up to each other. Any elbows are manufactured as part of the headers or muffler at the factory.

Instead of 2 headers and a muffler, you have 2 headers, 2 pipes to go to the muffler, a muffler, and then 2 tips.... that's 7 pieces instead of 3. Now each of those connection points needs a clamp...... your products look fantastic and I don't doubt the quality of them - just wondering why it isn't simpler. This is a case of "less is more" in my opinion.

Steve: Any comment on 1.5" vs 1 5/8" primaries on a 3.2-3.4L engine?
Our header kit is more complicated because of the true dual inlet dual outlet muffler. All of the V-Band clamps are included with the kit as is the block off so you can run the muffler as a single outlet. You can also run the system with no muffler and have the pipes coming off the headers right out the rear bumper.

We currently are designing a RSR header kit that can be used with Sportcats, I will let Chris chime in on the specifics.

I would definitely contact Steve W for advise.

Otherwise, I believe the rat rode mod (cheapest) is to do 993 headers. Although you have to invert the flanges.

Yes, I am aware lol. It's the ONLY photo I have of a stock system next to our headers ( our headers are very similar for all the air cooled cars) so I thought you guys could use your imagination for what it would look like next to a 3.2 factory set up. For those who don't know that factory exhaust is off a 964. The headers still work along the same principal as the 911 3.0 and 3.2 stuff as you will still be eliminating the Cat on your car which is in the same location as the 964 set.
