That's a tall price if you are buying and it better have Ferry's signature on the glove box door if you are selling.

Tell the seller to put down the crack pipe. For that kind of money you can buy a nice 930 or NA 993.

Some of you guys are apparently not aware of the value of these cars. If it's a concours quality car, 45k for a CE cab with low miles is in the ball park. 9 months ago I bought a CE coupe with 61k miles for 40k and that was a fair price for a clean, all original example. At the same time, another CE coupe with 170k miles was being offered for 30k and it sold soon after.

A lot of people see value in the weisach sc also. It's all about what you like. If you are buying a car for minimal depreciation or appreciation reasons under consideration, you obviously have to keep in mind you need to find a buyer with decerning taste.

It certainly is about what a buyer is seeking (and can afford),....frick the market notes, as each circumstance is so different.

I've a 1989 Anniversary Coupe,..bought for ~21K seven years ago,. have put about $19K in it over the years (that's for everything excluding gas). She has about 130K on the clock and is in for a full-out interior restoration (full out means EVERYTHING, guys),..all leather. Not cheap, especially coming from Heritage. She'll get new glass front and back and all new exterior parts (seals, etc.). Then comes the Master Painter, Mr. John Holt in Marietta GA !! He will be repainting my girl next. His level of expertise is not cheap, either. SO.

Should I have a circumstance whereby I wish to sell the car,..you can only imagine what I would ask for it. And one would have to imagine a "specific" buyer who understands it's condition, and, subsequently, my asking price. I feel like I "appreciated" her vs. "depreciated" her,..but this can be a tricky sale condition for many,..and not much so for those who relate and have the wallets to carry their words/desires.

In any event, I'll frikin' never sell her,..to the Grandson, it will go!

BEST!

Doyle
