Can someone explain the hate towards water cooled cars?

I own both. Makes no difference. Both are just as good as the other.
I like the 993 for the body and size.
I like the 997GT3 for the power. Body is not too shabby either and still has that great steering feel.
In defence of the water cooled, A GT3 will make you forget about older 911s. (but i still love old 911s)

I own both types of Porsches, a blasphemous front engined water cooled 928 S4 and a 911 3.2 Carrera. Love them both but they are two totally different cars and I use them for different purposes.
