Can we list all the myths and the most common mis-information that perpetuate on 911 forums? The stuff that will make the naive waste time and money. I am very curious about some details.

Myth: If the A/C is opened then the R/D must be replaced since even pulling a hard vacuum for an extended period cannot possibly remove enough of the previously trapped moisture to allow reuse of the original.
"Hard Vacuum" Generic use of the term as it applies only to the process of pulling a vacuum in an A/C system using readily available vacuum pumps.

That's a great idea BUT, there are a lot of opinions on what is "myth" and what is considered "misinformation". Somebody would have to be an "approved" expert in order for "most" to agree with their determination of what is myth and what is misinformation........
