Default Some pics of my restored 71 911

Hi, I thought I would share some pics of my newly restored 71t in signal orange. This was the color I was looking for when it happened to pop up on CL one night I was very excited and made the deal over the phone more or less. I drove out to pick it up 2 days later. It was a little rougher than I expected but it was mine
The restoration took much longer than expected but I am very pleased with the out come. It is very nice and fast and puts a smile on everyones face. Here's a glimpse of the restore with before and after pics. Enjoy, rob

Droooooooooooool. So impressed. LOVE the orange. So jealous.
Just beautiful.

Please tell us how long you spent working on it and (if you don't mind) what your budget was.

I am in the process of bringing this 1971 Targa from VA to CT. It doesn't need as much work as yours, but I still have a lot to do on this one.

Thank you, the color is really cool. So many nice colors for early 911's its a tough choice to pick just one.

Thank you! It took much longer than expected and I outsourced the whole project. I definitely don't have the time or knowledge for such an undertaking. I wasnt really sure what I was getting myself into but decided pretty quickly that I wanted it done correctly and thoroughly. The whole project took about 1.5 years but it was worth the wait and I learned so much in the journey. It cost a whole lot more than expected but I did have everything rebuilt or replaced. PM if youd like some details. and good luck on your targa, it looks great. Rob

I figured that from the pics background. Great car, and they do look excellent in that color.
If you ever drive down to Wickenburg give me a shout, love to see it in the flesh.
