Introduction
I have been a luker for some time as I was researching buying/investing in a classic 911. I come from the Audi s car/BMW/VW world. I am the owner of a high-end tool/die shop in Ohio and have used my car knowledge and machining to do some cool projects....and I have afew Porsche projects in mind! First I need my first victim. After much research, I am currently on the prowl (why is it when you have the $$$, you can't find a car?) for what I hope is the start of my new adventure. Looking for a 86-92 g50/c2/c4 car. Coming from Audi quattro's, the c4 cars hold some special interest for me! Black interior is a must, and exterior color is open (petrol blue, silver, grey, white would be nice). I was looking on my own but am seeing the logic of getting a sorted/documented car from an enthusiast. As most of you, I thought I could just go down to the corner, flash 10-14k grand and drive a sweet 911 home.......no such luck. I now understand, after a couple close calls, that buyer beware on 911 purchases. I hope to be joining you guys/gals soon as an active owner with some "skin in the game".
