That's pretty cool...didn't know they'd made those. Makes that Cab look like a real Porsche.

No, but I have one for my 2009 997TT Cabriolet!
They're required for PCA DE's!

I searched for part # 911-561-901-01 on Pelican, and it said that it was superseded by 911-561-901-02. They offer the -02 version as a special order item for $6158. No idea if it actually still exists.

Figure you have to remove the soft top and part of the convertible mechanism. Probably doesn't take too long once you do it a time or two. Probably tap into some available power for the rear window defog and the headliner lighting. Pretty expensive, but would be a unique and valuable item.

Coupes may be the better looking of the 911's... no doubt about that, but they don't have the "fun" factor of the rag tops.

I have to rein in my pithy style....recently chastised for being not so PC....altho I still think that guy selling car parts is from Nigeria...or worse California.
Back to the convertible...very nice!

Someone earlier mentioned fighting words?

Back on topic, though--we always heard rumors that these tops existed, but I never had a customer with one. I think a couple of them tried really hard, but the cost probably was more of a turn off than any availability issues.

Not OEM, but you could find aftermarket ones on eBay from time to time. There was also a guy on Pelican "Thominatr" or something like that making hardtops about 6 years ago.
