Reputable Shop in Sacramento for PPI
Hi Rennlist,
I'm quite obviously new here, so if I'm posting this in the wrong place, please move it where it should go.
I'm looking at purchasing a 1988 911 Targa in the Sacramento area. Current issue is that I'm on the East Coast and would like to get it inspecting before purchase. Can anyone recommend a reputable shop in that area, where I could ask it to be taken?
As a bit of a follow-up, can anyone recommend a decent transport company? I'll be shipping the car from Sacramento to Washington, DC if I purchase it, and would like to spend ~$1,000 at most.

Ron Kain, owner of IPB in downtown Sac. In addition to having been involved with Porsches forever, he's the PRC Spec 911 scrutineer. Possible this is one of his customer's cars?
