A friend of mine has a '78 SC that he registered in Savannah to avoid having it emission tested in Fulton Co. Just see if you can register your car at a friends or relatives residence out of the testing area. Easier said than done...Good luck!

if you have several cars, one other option is to buy a 50' x 50' lot somewhere in middle georgia, and get a po box. not only good for emissions, but insurance and the tag fees. good if you have several cars. friend who lives in alpharetta registered his car in tennessee to beat all the above, but the cops have been known to get aggrivated if they pull you over and find out you live in the area and have your car registered elsewhere, i.e. thrown in jail and the car impounded.
