I've noticed more of a scream from the SC, and a gutteral rumble with the 3.2.

My office neighbor says the 3.2 sounds like a UPS truck, hahaha!! He says it shakes his windows....and mine has always been bone stock except for a cat bypass.

I would love a pair of SSIs, but could never get that past the Calif. smog *****.

That's funny neighbor said the same thing except I think he referred to it as a FedEx truck when ever I start it from within the garage.

My 2.7 MFI could be heard 1 1/2 blocks away, according to the wife. I enjoy the sound and the decibel level, because I have only driven the car twice since i bought it. Fun stuff this, right now its fun to be loud. Once I get more driving under my belt, I might be more stealthy.

95% of the world hates loud exhausts, and when you do it around NYC, it makes me look like an ******* for driving a Porsche at all.

Don't make me look like an *******. Sometimes I park on the street.

No, all that means is that your car is loud. I can hear trucks with jake brakes from a mile away, doesn't mean it sounds good.

A stock 993 sounds like a sewing machine at idle. Rumble, they most certainly do not. Also, I think you may want to reacquaint yourself with what a BBC sounds like, because no 3.6 is gonna do it.

At the import show this weekend, a couple guys came over and said that they were staying at the same hotel and my exhaust set off their car alarm. Then I apparently flew by them on the highway. They said it sounded fantastic.

So wait, my loud exhaust pisses off self-important New Yorkers? Bonus!
