Default Factory Slantnose Information

Hello Fellow Enthusiasts; I'm looking to add a "Real" Factory Slantnose to my collection of cars. I'm a neophyte when it comes to Porsches, although in high school (70s), I knew a fellow student that had a "Real" bathtub 55 Speedster Porsche. He was very much the mechanic & dropped a 3.0 liter Porsche motor in it, I digress. I would very much appreciate if someone/s could direct myself to a comprehensive source ( Books, Articles, Tech info, posts on this website) that would allow myself to garner as much "Correct" info as possible prior to making an informed purchase. I live in the San Francisco Bay Area, Thanks for you advice & direction/s...Much Appreciated!!...Mark

Hello "A.L."; I'm open to any & "all" suggestions. I would prefer the models/years that have shown themselves to be the most "bulletproof" & best preforming. I have a 1991 Ferrari Testarossa that has "mods" & a 1972 DeTomaso Pantera that is set up rather nicely,a 1959 Austin Healy BN6, a 69 Jaguar XKE Series II FHC & a 72 Volvo P1800e, so I do very much appreciate the performance/handling aspects of cars. I want to know the correct approach to securing/establishing a slantnose authenticity. I've been told many "things", as to the accuracy of the information, that is the question....Mark
