What do you guys use? The smallest Recaro seat, that fits in my C2S, doesn't stand a chance in the Targa. Can't even get a booster in it. However, my 5, 7 and 8 yr olds all fit snug in the seat and lap belt. I go one step further and actually use as airplane seat restraint. It's a belt that loops around the seat and goes around your kids chest. It has a harness that then incorporates the lap belt for a full 5 point setup. It specially says on the front of it that it not safe for use in cars, but I can't see how it hurts.
On another note, I noticed on the side of each rear seat in the middle are orange pull buttons of some sort, what do they do? Do they lock the uprights somehow?

The narrowest seat I have found is the Volvo booster seat, like this:
