I am new to the Porsche scene and have been looking at a 1997 911-993. I am trying to get a idea on the value and need some help from some more seasoned Porsche experts. The car has 144,000 miles, is a convertible but needs new top, supercharged, new interior, and seems to run great.
I welcome all the info and suggestions I can get.
Thanks,

i would be curious as to how someone jambed a supercharger in there.
Unless of course OP meant its a 993 turbo .. then it would be worth a pretty penny.

TPC has made kits for decades, probably dating back to only a few months after the first '89 964 C4 was delivered. Execution of the product can be debated..............
Back to the OP question--if you haven't joined us on the 993 Forum, do so. But in a sentence, I can't imagine a car like this being a car for a first timer without MASSIVE DIY skills or deep pockets. Look for a good car, take the focus off of whatever temptation there might be for a "deal".
