need help fixing convertible top!
I have a 1997 carrera cabriolet, and the cables controlling the convertible top have shortened, stopping one side from going up and down. I don't want to buy a new part ($$) and have it do the same thing. My mechanic has stretched the cables once already, but they shortened again. Has anyone successfully fixed this issue without buying the part new? or, are the new parts better and worth it?
