windshield nozzle removal
Guys,
I am finally going to repaint my 1989 Cab after contemplating it for a while. It has scratches here and there, dings everywhere, 4 inch key job at left rear, and otherwise mostly original paint. I just don't want to see all these eye sores day in day out on this great car. So far, I have taken off the rockets, bumpers, door handles, wipers, window trims, etc. Tomorrow, I will try to take off the cab top. My Bentley manual has no section of convertible top removal and I could not find instructions online? Anyone has a pictorial for that?
Today, I got many knuckles scraped trying to get the nozzles off. I tried to get in from the tachometer opening as well as from the trunk and I was unsuccessful. Any pointers?
Also, the car has the factory stickers on all the panels. I feel bad about repainting the car but I just have to restore it to its former glory.
Thanks,
Steve
