What's this? (wire under driver's seat)

1986 911 - I took out the drivers seat for another project and found this blue wire not connected to anything...

Anybody know what it's for?

Ice... good suggestion... perhaps. I was thinking it's for heated seats (which I don't have)?

I think that is some form of bypass connector used by dealer tech's to diagnose ignition faults on '84-'89
