Question Electric Window jammed by something?

Hi,

Firstly, thanks to eveyone who responded to my post a couple of weeks back re the soft suspension on my '89 3.2. I picked it up from the shop yesterday after a set of adjustable koni sport yellows, a bit of a lower and a decent alignment. WOW, what a difference. To anyone out there that has not done this yet, DO IT. It's a different car.

Anyhow, my drivers window gets stuck (only on the way down) every second time I use it. The motor works fine, and it does not make any untoward noises. It just jamms as if something is blocking the glass usually after opening the first 2 or so inches. I'm hoping this is a common problem and a simple fix as I have read the tech article on pelicanparts about removing doortrims and am ready to take this on.

Cheers, Victor

usually it's the felt channels. the felt wears off and the glass drags on the rubber base.
