Hello All!
This is my first time posting here so here it goes. I have a '78sc that has been running like a top untill a few days ago. It seems that once the car warms up it suffers a suden power loss and the engine acts like its not getting fuel. When its in this state it almost reminds me of a car thats run out of gas. I replaced the fuel filter in the rear of the car thinking this would solve my issue but my efforts went unrewarded. The car still fires up and sounds great untill it gets warm and then its good for nothing. All suggestions and comments would be greatly appreciated.
Best Regards,

I also had my 75 911S suffer this fate. I started with the fuel tank and found rust! After I performed a strip/clean/re-coat of the fuel tank I had to replace the fuel pump, accumulator, fuel filter and adjust the fuel levels at the mixture control unit (CIS System). This all cured the loss of power and she is running better than ever! Hope this helps. <img src="graemlins/burnout.gif" border="0" alt="[burnout]" />
