It all seems pretty straight forward, but I thought I might ask if there are any tips you all might have when switching from standard to Turbo tie rods.
My kit came in from Pelican parts yesterday and I got started but got hung up on the spanner nut (round thing with four notches). I couldn't get it loose with any tools that I had. I borrowed a spanner wrench from a tech here at work and will try that this evening.
Any other tips are welcomed.
Thanks, JH

the spanner nut comes off easy with a hammer and chisel. red loctite is a bit tougher. the new rods also need their own special tool, which basically is a thin open end wrench, available thru performance products, by smartcamber. the wrench makes it easier, due to lack of space to get the piece reasonably tight.
