So one guy puts a beyond absurdly high asking price on a single car. Undoubtedly he hasn't been off the phone or email since he posted this; and by now he's got the money in his bank account, and is assisting with transportation arrangements.

(Makes the Riviera Blue 993S look cheap, hmm?)

Doesn't mean a thing until he's actually sold the car.

I have a feeling he won't be getting his full asking price...

Not long ago Sports Car Market mag wrote a small blurb on a stock, condition #2 (maybe 3), USA '77 911S - that sold for about $22K. Sorry, can't remember details, but I sure don't think that car had 200K + miles on it.

I think that I'm going to offer my car, in the near future, at one of the big auctions, just for grins and giggles, and see how much I can get for it.

1 guy on crack, does not a market make.

Wait, maybe he put one of the oh-so-special G50's in it?

Maybe his "boss" wants him to get rid of the Porsche so to satisfy her he decides to list it and comes back with the excuse,

"The market for a used 911 is dead, I have to keep it"

Nice mid-year Carrera in Ireland

I got $ 20,000 for my 76 911 s Targa six months ago. It had quite a lot of work done.
