I am in the market for a used 911. I would like to know if anybody has recommendations for possible PPI's in the Salt Lake City, UT area.

There are two good independents and one dealer in SLC. The dealer is Dave Strongs 531-9900, ask for Larry Mullin. The independents are Baxter's Auto Haus - John Baxter owner for 30+ years, a bit raspy but very, very knowledgeable and will tell you like it is. The other is Concourse Auto Werks - 313-9100 can't remember the owners names, however I've spoken to them on several occasions and they are very knowledgeable as well (they were formerly Walters Auto Haus - Walter sold to the two main mechanics when he retired - they formed Concourse).

Hope this helps. When you get you car, join the PCA. They are a great bunch of people. We do many events (auto cross, road tours, parades, go to Vegas and Cal for Day Events, etc.)

Thanks for the great information.

I checked the PCA website and would enjoy attending the Club Race and DE in May, but I think that would be pushing it a bit to have a car by then. I plan on taking my time to find what fits me best.
