Wink Finally,..the WEVO RARBs are installed!

A good while back, I experienced a rear swaybar mount fracture on the drivers' side, resulting in my subsequent procrastination to get it repaired (ahem,..)...,..trying to work it through contacts,..blah-blah... Finally handed it over to my P-Wrench to install the WEVOs (RARB) on both sides. Replaced all rubber/clamps,..as well as new Lemfoerder drop links.

I simply cannot believe the difference that I'm experiencing as of yesterday. Knowing I had the fracture certainly contained any agressive driving over the past several months of "no-repair",..STILL,....today's run (post work) was amazing in the quick response of that rear end. Now I can push her,..and she's giving good feedback..

WOW!

CHECK YOUR SWAY BAR MOUNTS FOR ANY STRESSING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Best!

Damn, no arrow needed to point that out. Was that simply a stress fracture or was there some corrosion involved?

rear sway bar mount routinely fractures on 911

temp and cheap is to weld up the crack or buy a new Porsche part

Made me look...didn't know this was a common issue. Mine are ok.
Take a pic of your new set up when you have the chance.

Once you have them installed you look at them and say "that's the way it should be!"
Install costs more than the part btw.

It certainly was,...As to my endeavor,..I provided the parts to my wrench, although he had a body shop's Master Welder handle the install (sub'd, if you will)....costs were as follows:

RARB Console/rear swaybar mount brackets (X2) 180.00 LABOR: $397
Retaining Brackets (X2) 15.00 LABOR: 0
Rear Sway Bar Bushings (X2) 43.00 LABOR: 0
shipping 15.00
LemForder drop links (L/R) + hardware 109.00 LABOR: 0

Just to share my expenses (for this particular piece) with you guys,...wish I knew how to weld.....

BEST!

Doyle
