My '89 A/C is 100% stock. It has been maintained & 'tuned', and it is 'adequate'. It will maintain a temp in the low 70s on a 90 degreee day (while the car is moving). I've never been in stop/go traffic on a hot day.

I owned an 85 Targa- car was bullet proof. I agree with the people saying it's not a trade down- simply a different, and in many cases more desirable model. I own a 993 now- great car as well.

I owned both of the generations. I loved the 3.2 and just liked the 3.6

Tough call. I love G50 3.2 cars, period.
