Hi this is an update.

I have a ticking coming form the right side of my engine, only when the engine is cold.

I used the long screwdriver trick everyone told me about. That is excellent if anyone hasn't done it yet try it even if nothings broken its neat to hear.

Anyways the tensioners, and all the valves sound great, no weird ticking sounds.

I DO have a broken exhaust stud couldthat be it? The ticking goes away when the engine is warm.

That sounds like your trouble.
I'd fix it when convenient, rather than waiting until you can't drive the car any more.
