Default Are these Fuchs or reproductions?

Hi guys...while I wait for the local Porsche body shops to get back to me with an estimate to replace my suspension pan, I'm trying to stay busy on the car, fixing other small things and trying to sort out my wheel/tire situation...

I found these markings on the back of my 16x7 rear rims (see pics). Any idea whether these reproductions or real Fuchs?? Any help appreciated.

Thanks,

Dave

I believe so from what I know.

Here's some help: Wheel Part Numbers and offsets. (Not my table but well linked through Pelican)

More wheel identification details: http://forums.pelicanparts.com/porsc...old-fuchs.html

The stamp of the Fox confirms they are Fuchs.

Hey- thanks a lot, guys, that really helped me out.

So, I have '85 and later 911SC 16x7" wheels on the back of the car with a 23.3mm offset (a 6" wheel has 36mm offset). It looks like the 7" rim has the entire extra inch set on the outside of the rim, because the 6" and 7" wheels have identical backspacing (not good for me)...and my car has stock fenders.

I'm still hoping that a 205/50/16 on that rim will fit under the fender lip after I lower the ride height. If not, I guess I'll sell/trade them for a pair of 6" rims.

It would be nice to know if there is someone else out there running the 16x7 SC rear wheels on a pre '77 car with stock fenders...? Anyone?

You need to be careful about the clearance after you lower your car. My 85 RoW cab had 7s in front with 205s and it would chew up the left front tire on turns where the suspension was compressed.

WPOZZZ- I wasn't too clear (sorry)- I have 6" on the front and they are perfect- it's the rear 7" that I am concerned about.
