Need new plug wires. Still have originals. Stock 911SC. Suggestions? Also have original Bilstein struts. Do I want HD or Sport shock replacements? Which ones came on car? Also need good (inexpensive) vendors for these parts. Thanks for any help?

R&D Enterprises or Shox.com, (same company) supplied me with 4 Bilstein Sports for my 1985 911. THE BEST prices. Quickly corrected a mis understood part with fast shipping and paid return shipping for incorrect front struts.
My car came with Boge-Sports from factory. I only dicovered this after I installed the Bil's. I anticipated a big change but really liked the results, brisk but not harsh. Check your original part # to see what type (sport/other) Bil strut is on the car now.

I have Magnecor 8.5MM wires with Beru connectors on my two 911's. Cost about $135/set. I am very satisfied with Magnecor's. Check the archives for more info on this topic.

John,
If you use your 911 on the street only, replacing your Bilstein inserts with the HD variety should work for you. If you were going to upgrade your torsion bars, then going to the Sports would be in order. Concur on the www.shox.com recommendation as being one of the best price leaders on shocks. For wire replacement, I'd recommend Magnecore first and Porsche second. You may pay a bit more for the Magnecore wires, but they are a high quality product which maximizes getting the charge to the spark plug. Several vendors sell them or you can buy direct.
