Default Help! Bilstein Sports

After what seems like forever, I have finally removed enough stuff that I can get to the upper shock bolts. Now I look at the new Sport rear shocks I have, and I have no clue about the bumper and spacer under the dust cover.

There is a soft rubber bumper 65mm tall and on top of that there is a 35mm hard white plastic (Delrin?) spacer. Do I use both of them or remove the white spacer? What little instructions that came with the shocks say nothing about the bumper and spacer.

My car is a 84, stock torsion bars and sways, and not lowered.

Thanks.

Pics?

I believe the spacer was to correct for the us ride height issue. As us cars were set up higher the spacer was used to make sure the sock was in the optimum range. I'm surprised it was plastic. I don't remember the rubber bump stop on mine tho

Here is pic. Chuck Moreland at Elephant replied to my email on a Sunday!!! and said I should use both the bumper and the spacer, so that's what I did. Thanks!
