No leak down test?

Did they remove the lower rocker covers and check the head studs?

I can't believe they didn't point out the really bad outboard rear motor mounts.

It's a pretty car, but it looks like the front bumper has taken some hits. To me, the bellows on both sides are deformed, the RH side parking lens is cracked, and it looks to droop to me. That is certainly an east coast car, by the looks of the surface corrosion on the motor. Who did the PPI-hopefully a shop you picked?

Good eyes, Ed. I'm also concerned about that horrific job on the dash top, the shrinking violet rear deck, the missing seat back release *****, and... the... backwards wiper arms. If this car was so carefully gone over, why were these seemingly innocent items done so badly, or missed entirely? This is how a 911 dash should look...btw, check the odo reading!

That entire interior seems to show wear. That is also one of the most expensive areas of a 911, to restore. If you are at $21K, I'd make double sure there are NO mechanical needs, as you have a few $ to spend if you want it in really nice shape. I'd also not rely on a PPI done by the seller, or their shop.

It's rare to see a rear package shelf shrunk that badly, makes one think that the car has seen a lot of sunny days...sitting in a parking lot.

Congrats on the car looks to be nice from the surface ,despite the detractors a Florida car can be
relatively corrision free, despite some apparent shrinkage in the interior on edges and corners.
Looks like not the greatest recover on the dash although puffy can be lived with until necessary .
I've not seen this combination of anniversary style rims with the wine red exterior hue, looks good..
Oh and yes this has to be at the top of the price range or Carrera's have been slowly sneaking up on
964's and 993's.
Enjoy...Bert
