I was told that a certain size allen key could be used to remove the targa top. The proper levers are missing from the '77 I just bought and I thought this would make an inexpensive alternative. Does anyone out there do this? What size does it take? Thanks.

OK, I'll answer this one myself for anyone else in the same boat. I removed the latches by punching out the two pins in the plastic covers of the latches, then removed the Allen screws holding the latches in the targa top. I took the latches to a local machine shop where they were squeezed back to round. Went across the road and had them welded. Then back to the machine shop where they made two wrenches for me. Total cost: $30 CANADIAN! (That's about $1.98 US, I think.)
