Default Anyone painted front spoiler on 930?

Just came across this picture. Has anyone done it to their car, painted the front plastic spoiler/lip the same colour as the car?

I think it looks great. Not a massive fan of the black that is on every car. I think it looks neater and more 'modern'?

Just out of curiosity I went to the PaintScratch website. I tried the Guided Order Form and they have a selection "I am spray painting a non-metal surface." Two of the products they recommend are

1) "Adhesion Promoter is used as the first layer on non-metal surfaces for maximum adhesion."

2) "Rubberized Primer is a primer for non-metal surfaces."

I don't know if this will work on a rubber chin spoiler, but you could give them a call and ask.

I have seen it done and the problem is that when the rubber spoiler impacts the ground (and it will) the paint will crack and look terrible. If you really want to go this route, use bulldog adhesion promoter and the rubberized primer and be wary of speedbumps and steep driveways...

The spoiler shown in that PIC is standard/stock for the M470..... if working toward that look, some people use the speedster front valance and of course delete the rear spoiler. Not sure if painting will accomplish the same look.....close, but it will be different.

I love the LOOK of the M470....spoiler delete.

Thanks for the advice. I'll speak to a couple of paint shops to see what they recommend.

I do too!

I thought of the spoiler delete but will wait and see. I think getting the front done could well be on the cards....
