Default Gas Cap 911 SC

When I tighten my original looking metal gas cap, it will screw down and then it clicks. You can continue to turn and it clicks again, never getting really tight. Is this correct? I have an older Z-car and it screws down tight, I know a lot of the newer cars click, but the one on the 911 does not look like the type.

Thanks!

Yup, that is how the gas cap works on the SC so nothing to worry about where that is concerned.

I'm sure I'll have to scratch my head on the simple things in a few years. I have only filled it up twice since I bought it so it is still "strange" to me! On a separate note, with such a big tank and pretty good gas mileage, I won't see the gas station as much as I thought.
