Default help with engine number

I have what I have been told is a 3.0SC engine. It's number is 6590062. Can someone tell me what I have? I also would like to know how to decipher these numbers. Thanks, Gary

California 3.0 litre from 78/79 so the lower compresion slightly less powerfull 3.0 litre. I bet it has the plastic fuel lines.
produced August 78 till July 79.

its a 930/06 engine which means it should have catalytic converter and EGR emmisions.

6590062
"6" = 6 cyl
"5" = 911SC CA
"9" = 1979
"0062" = Consecutive build #. Holy smokes! That's an early engine, perhaps the first '79 to find its way into a production car.
