Smile 911T to 2.7 engine swap

i have a 71 911t that im planning to swap a 74 2.7 motor into. do i have to do anything with the engine harness?

oh, and as a side note. is there any where that i can find info on this swap for the thousand other questions that will pop up? i know its been hashed over on this forum but i cannot find any of the earlier posts regarding this topic. much thanks.

You should seriously consider bypassing the 2.7 and go right on up to a 3.0. Much more reliable engine.

From a harness perspective, the 2.7 and the 3.0 are very much the same, but different from the 71T.

If coming from a salvage car, be sure to get everything you'll need to run this engine including all the attached ancillaries, the CD Box, Fuel pump, as well as the harness.

i have considered the 3.0, but i got a newly rebuilt 2.7 with updates for FREE.
