OK, I know this is the 911 forum but indulge me for posting the little guy before I get to the big dog. My big dog that is. 2.0E is a fun one in between.

Those are sure pretty Bob.

This was my creation- until yesterday.

Not a totally wild build-up of a 3.2, ending up at 3.4L. Mid 260's (227RWHP, 207on the tq) for HP at the crank, perhaps. But then again, I built it. I'm sure someone who really knew what they were doing could squeeze some more out.

I wish I could say that the Porsche flat six is a particularly beautiful engine.

But you know, 'pretty is as pretty does.'

I was thinking I'd have to go out to a dark parking lot and take a picture......

We'll update if it loses the Motronic, and gets some dual 46IDAs. (Note: I'd never convert a car to carbs today, unless I was really, really, really going "period correct" and/or had a basically brand new NOS pair laying around.)
