Does anyone know if you can buy just the window to the top or do you have to buy the whole thing? Also has anyone seen a rear window made from "tinted" plastic? Lastly, best place to buy? Thanks.

I don't know the name of the company, but I am down in Florida and I have seen some high end cabs with tinted soft back windows.

Definitely interested in an answer to this question....was thinking of fashioning some type of tinted "screen."

Now Jay. How is that of help to me? Now go on down to Napa and buy a flashing light and pull over some of the finer examples and find out! Go on!

I'm thinking someone has to make a window with tinted plastic. At least it would match my other windows.

http://www.autosintl.net/

Several years ago, I bought seat covers from these guys for my '85 cab. That worked out so well that I then had them replace my rear window. Of all the options they offered, I ended up removing the rear part of the top only (from the zipper on back), shipping it to them, where they sewed in a new plastic window, and I re-installed it upon return.

The products are very high quality and the service is too - very flexible in offering the best option possible based on your budget and desire to do some things yourself.

Edit - I looked through their website right now, and recommend that you phone them. They do a lot more than is listed there (or at least they used to). If tinted cab windows exist, I bet they can get one for you.

Speaking of Napa . . . There was this reallllllly good bottle of wine. It was rated a 96 and was real cheap, I can't remember the name, but it was very nice. We loved it!!

You should buy some . . . .

How is your Targa doing in Denver? It's on my radar if it ever comes back on the market.
