Default Steering Wheel "Buzzing" Vibration.

A very slight intermittent "buzzing" vibration has developed in the streering wheel/column at 40+ MPH.

All has been checked:

1. Alignment.

2. Balance.

3. Tire pressure(s) 29F/36R.

4. The tire wear is correct.

The tires are Pirelli P-Zero Nereo M+S with 8K miles.

The car does not pull when braking, and drives straight with momentary "hands off" on the steering wheel.

Any thoughts?

Thanks in advance,

Gerry

put the back wheels on the front and the front wheels on the back .. go drive down a road with no dips at 40 and see if it is still there .. report back ..

remember the wheel width will be different and you dont want to bend a fender so just be carefull. Should tell you a lot .. if it remains i would be thinking wheel bearing possibly. Try repacking them.

Yes, originating from the tires? wheels?, not sure,

and more prominent when I change lanes.

Transposing the F/R wheels might be an issue, as the rears are 8X16 W/225's.

Thanks,

Gerry

Default Wheel Bearing Adjustment.

Thanks all for the inputs.

I'll have a look at the front wheel bearing play/adjustment this weekend,
as per 401-12 of the Bentley, and post my findings if any.

Best,

Gerry
