Default Busted alignment pin on Targa roof

Rear Pin on drivers side must have coroded and broken off. Even worse .. it looks like it is part of an assembly and the whole roof needs to be taken to pieces to fix.

say it aint so ....

l am not taking the roof apart so i am already thinking of what i can do ..

I believe it IS part of an assembly that would require dismantling to change. However, last year we repaired one on my friend's '72 by welding a small extension onto the broken pin. Worked like a charm.

Welding it would harden the surface a bit.
