Unhappy Warm running issues

Hi guys,

Trying to diagnose a warm running problem and could use some help. Car starts, warms and runs great until full temp(90 degree mark) has been reached. Then it tends to hold RPM too long on decel and will stick at about 2,200 rpm. A hot restart makes it worse. Aux air reg seems to be working as cold start gets raised rpm then returns to normal. I checked resistance on the WUR and got a reading of 9.5. I read somewhere that it should be 18-22 ohm. Does my 9.5 sound like the WUR isn't functioning? Would that produce similar symptoms? Checking the aux air valve has proven inconclusive due to location and accessibility. I can't find any obvious intake air leaks, though removing oil fill cap doesn't produce a very big drop in RPM.

Any thoughts?

Sorry Ron,

It's an 83' SC. I'm just unsure about that resistance reading on the WUR. As I understand it, these things either work or don't. Do you think that 9.5 ohm suggests an open circuit?

Thanks,
