Tim-

I just used the SEARCH feature and found "How to save a discussion thread URL". I think it will explain what you're looking for.

Glad to hear the jack came out. Try the 944 Forum for a scissor jack. Got mine for $20.

Do yourself a favor and install the JWest headlight relay kit available from Pelican for $25.00 when you replace your existing headlight /flasher stalk unit ...
If i remember when i replaced my stalk assembly,i unscrewed and removed the headlight ****/pull unit and let it hang under the dash to get easier access to the wires, otherwise you have to be a contortionist and have good eyes to connect the wiring from the stalk !
Like the boys said,do a search, there's plenty of reading on this subject !!!

Cheers !

I have looked and only find the issue where the High beams come on or stick on or off from the switch. Can anyone help be troubleshoot the issue I have- where the switch works perfectly but the flash does not. In other words I can engage and disengage high beams perfectly well by pushing the switch away from me, but pulling it toward me will not flash high beams.

Fonz,

This thread shows the relative positions of the springs for the different switch positions. I'm guessing your switch is not making the necessary contacts. Maybe this will help trouble-shoot:

if you check the rennlist switch repair thread there is a pic with the high beem contacts for the "flash to pass" once you get your switch out and on a baench with a good light you will see them in there
