Parts... but seriously where is this car i just want to go see it in person and make sure some one did not photo shop this thing in to existence. I can not imagine some one would spend any time making such a beautiful car in to... ...That

I figured it would need a lot of work to get it back to normal. I just figure it might be worth it only because i've seen rusty rollers with barely anything in them going for the same price on craigslist. It's actually located in Mount Vernon NY sitting next in the lot of a body shop.

if you look at the bottom of the label on the engine, it mentions 1975 model year engines. The owner mentioned something about it being a crate engine that was put in.

Looks like a euro 3 liter actually. That is worth something, but the body is junk.

I don't have the imagination to see where you would go with this...but a lot of work just to get to a partial tub. Then you need to fight the rust...and what works...does it run? Anything over $1200...no I would keep looking. If you are even considering $5000 you can do better...I don't think there is anything there you could sell to offset the initial cost even.

If it is, maybe so. But look at the chain covers that are missing. Who knows what kind of corrosion could be going on inside that engine.

So I called the guy today to talk to him about it....

Nice guy very talkative. He said that he would let it go for 4500$ (its listed on craigslist for 5K). Yeah right I was going to offer him 500$. He said that they though there was an engine knock thus the removed chain covers so I think he has them some where. I just want it for parts, Im going to take a look at the car next Thursday if I can get him to or below 1K i will most likely pick this hunk up and part it out. I will keep every one up to date on what im doing, if I do get it and part it, if you need some thing PM and ill see what we can do. As well if I go that route I will strip it to the tub and sell the tub for 50$ if any one wants it....

Regards
Dave
