Crazy: You should have called me for shotgun! I'll have the garage cleaned out by the time you get here...
Should I go relieve Tam?

Congratulations on the pickup.
Drive safely.
Hope the weather cooperates.
Tell your wife the Porsche is like a new pair of shoes and she'll understand.

No wait. Don't do that. She'll then figure out what you spent and calculate how many pairs of shoes she can get. Bad idea, I take it back.

Safe travels Tim. You might want to check that car bra. I've heard it can do damage when wet. I switched to a four part magnetic track mask for that reason. Now I use a full hood clear bra and don't worry about it anymore ... just something to consider.

Best of luck

I also use a Mag Bra on my 911. The old leather style are really bad and do a number on the paint.

I was hoping you'd have some blue tape along and start chapter 2 of the story...

Your poor son is probably kicking himself right now!! Not to worry though, you both will have lots of fun with the car in the future!

It looks great! I agree that you probably don't want to keep the bra on long-term. However, you may as well leave it on for the road trip back.

Later, evaluate the paint, get it as close to perfect as humanly possible, and then check out clear bras... wOOtPorsche did this on his 911... you may want to check with him...

Tim;

Be careful going through Va. Was coming home from Orlando back in 03 and got stopped for doing 85 in a 55mph zone. Cop was nice, and we started talking cars. He was driving a 03 Mustang drk. green cruiser, blacked out glass, looked real cool. I was driving my 996 twin. Any way, before he went back to the cruiser he said, "look, you seem like a nice guy and if I sumit this ticket as written, You are going to have to pay a lot of sur-charges on your insurance. if you let me add on an extra $25.00 to the fine, I will break it up and sumit it as violations other than speeding, and Va. will not notify Ma."

So he "SUPER SIZED" my ticket to $137.00 but true to his word, never heard a thing from MA. DMV. Be careful out there.

Enjoy your drive home...there is nothing better than that first drive.

Keep your eyes on the road though...as hard as that might be. Easier said than done!

Stop going to fast food! Find the quirky restaurants and take your time! How old is your boy?

So where's Tim?

A. Having too much fun.
B. In some jail in the Carolinas waiting to make bail.
C. Wife put some pressure on him to get home, and he's making tracks.
D. Suffered health issue from the diet he's not on.
E. Found out about trailing throttle oversteer.
F. Got picked up by a MILF in a bar in VA.

Let's hope neither D/E
