Post piston wrist pin clips

have a 2.7 engine. want to take pistons off. retaining clip pliers do not work. needle
nose slip off. any suggestions? i tried the screwdrivers, but they gouge the pee out of the pistons. i am using them again
in rebuild(pistons, not circlips).anyone know of a less damaging way or tool to do this. they appear to be
standard circlips

push a skinny pocket screwdriver into the notch of the piston pin bore, under the clip, and keep pushing until the clip comes out.
