hopefully, soon, I will be replacing my windshield after the repaint. I remember seeing a post of someone who used something other than the Alum. trim for the beading of the new seal. I have some barbed rubber trim from my friends windshield shop, but am not sure if I need to use it. I have the glass and seal, but want to know if there is something I can use which will be cheaper than using the stock trim. Searched the archives but could find nothing.
