A stop at "Old Sheldon Church" is a must see in my opinion; easy and quick stop off 17 just outside beufort. This historic location is hauntingly beautiful, and the significant event in history at that location is largely untold and a startling insight into our history from both revolutionary, and Civil war.

This link gives only a brief history, carefully omitting some of the attrocities that occured there during the revolution.
Great! Planning on getting to Charleston the night of 12/2 and leaving either the next day (Saturday) or Sunday. If the weather is nice I might want to take my son to Folly Beach for part of the day. We have a townhome there. Plus Bessinger's BBQ is on the docket. Then on to Greensboro to look
at a Targa (possible daily driver for winter/bad weather) and then to Virginia Beach for an over night with another Rennlister. Hope we can meet. Have a Happy Thanksgiving!

AAA Premium which gets you a 200 mile towing range. It gives me piece of mind when I go for long trips.

Wow! Didn't know that existed. Have been a "Plus" member for years. Thanks!
