basicly the top lever is the vent and vent fan
next lever down is the direction, look at the arrows one way vent up the other vent to feet
next lever is same thing up or down but it is the heat

but you won't have heat unless you pull up on the levers either side of the hand brake
there is also an additional fan control or auto control depending on type of system you have (auto vs manual) between the seats

Also the manual if present explains all this very well

not the best explaination but it will get you started...safe trip

I would also have some microfiber cloths handy. As you are driving, every fingerprint or smudge will bother you. Trust me ;-)

Give me an idea when you will be in Charleston. That's my 'home town' and an easy stretch for me to make. I have business down there anyway and this time frame would be good for me to get away. If not will you be on 95? If you do head into Chas., pick up 17 just north of Savannah (off 95) and come into Chas. from the south through some of the most beautiful antabellum, rural, landscape. A stop at "Old Sheldon Church" is a must see in my opinion; easy and quick stop off 17 just outside beufort. This historic location is hauntingly beautiful, and the significant event in history at that location is largely untold and a startling insight into our history from both revolutionary, and Civil war.

This link gives only a brief history, carefully omitting some of the attrocities that occured there during the revolution.

The red and black round "fuses" above the standard Buzz row of fuses.

You can swap them around if you need to. (EX: your heater goes out, swap the horn relay with the heater relay.)

I usually buy these from pelicanparts.com The DME is located under the driver's seat, it sends power to the fuel pump .

Pelican has a fuse kit that should cover you for your trip. For some reason these bullet fuses are hard to find although I have seen them at O'Reillys.

OReiley's has the China made ones. Work fine for me in my Turbo, except for the fuel pumps. Only the German ones keep cool and working

BTW, I don't think I would go out and get an extra DME...but a DME relay, that's a must. Where to get? Pelican as well.

Depends on my work schedule. Might not make it that far west. Spending 12/2 or 3 in Charleston with a friend and then on to Virginia Beach for an over night with another Rennlister. Then probably up to the Scranton, PA area.
