Maybe it's been done before, in which case, oh well....but inspired by David Matthews' article "1984 Carrera Targa," in this month's Excellence, I thought it would be cool to start a photo thread that emphasizes those little flaws (or patina if you like), that we know and try to avoid thinking about. As you step further away from that door, bumper, or tail, ever notice how it seems to get a little nicer, especially if you're snapping a few shots? 
Some of those little "details" magically go unnoticed. And ever notice how we chase those beauty shots.....all lush and curvy, at just the right angle, and in that summer magic hour light? I know it will be a little hard for some, so let me go first. Here's one of my little flaws....ercks me every time I notice it.
Dammit I wish mine was perfect! But it still drives niiiiiicce...
