Default .. And so ends another season

Unfortunate thing about living in this part of the world is the end of Porsche Season. Sure i could push it further but why bother .. snow on the ground this morning and its getting real cold out in the mornings. 33 year old cars dont like cold. So i Put her to bed along with the Avatar and they will both be back in the spring. Only project i have for this year is my seat covers so nothing major.

yea. just put my motorcycle and fishing boat away for the winter.

I'll drive the 928 for a few more weeks. then it is off to the storage garage and bring the 911 to my home garage for the winter. I have a lot of work planned before next year DE track season. glad I put in a small heater last year.

Man,..I just can't relate to that headache (and abstinence) of seasonal storage....

My girl goes year-round,..(yeah, I may make ammends of REALLY cold AM's,..leaving her sitting,....),..BUT: no snow and the "heavies" of my fellow RL's....so sad for you guys....

I can't think of any car I'd like to drive in the snow. Maybe a Unimog, or a snowmobile. No cars.

The 4S was wonderful in the 10K miles of winter driving last ski/boarding season. Nothing on the ground yet, but looking forward to getting the gear out Wed for a trip up Thu.

I hear 'ya! It may've hit just 60 here today. Brrrrrrrr. I'm wrapping up the suspension improvement project on the 993 tomorrow, and we have RAIN forecast! I may have to wait until next week to test drive. Late Fall is cruel.

Doyle, I agree. The thought of having to store a car away for the winter is bizarre.

I did it for the first time a few weeks ago. One of the hardest things I've ever done. Major bummer.
