I did get mine in the mail, Tuesday. The plate i got was CMXI. Roman numeral for 911.
Then it hit me while I watched the horror on tv and the news reporter said, "Today, September 11 will go down in history as a day of infamy." The date, September 11. 9/11.
It gave me chills. God bless America.

My two loves -- other than my dear wife and kids, of course (they may read this) -- are golf and my 77 911 targa. In respect of Ely Callaway's dictum to "have fun", my license plate reads "Rule 35." For those non-golfers out there, there are 34 real rules of golf. The late, lamented Mr. Callaway invented an extra one which applies equally to driving, whether it's on a fairway or a highway. FYI, he drove a Bentley -- and I had a ride in it with him at the wheel!
