Will 17x9 ET47 / 17x7.5 ET52 fit a 1984 - 1994 911? Maybe they would be too big in diameter for these years (cosmetically anyway)? The reason I'm asking is that I just sold my 996 and will be searching for a 1984-1989 911 or a 964 and need to decide if I should keep these Cup 3 wheels or sell them.

James,
I believe the correct offset for 1984-1989 911 wheels is ET19 front and ET23 rear ...
The 964's have a different offeset than the 911's !
I think Bill Verburg posted a chart somewhere,do a search !
There's nothing cosmetically wrong with running 17's on earlier 911'a as i'm currently using 17 inch Fikses and 17 inch Cup 1 replicas as track wheels on my 89 ...
There is a greater choice of tires in the 17 inch sizing !
Cheers !
Phil

Thanks Phil. Here is the chart: http://members.rennlist.com/1976c38/index.html
It looks like my wheels won't fit a 1984-1989 911, but may work on the 964.

911 chassis thru 1989, 964 chassis from 1989 to 1994
17x9 ET47 / 17x7.5 ET52 fit fine on a 964 chassis, see my response in you other thread
and can be used on 911 chassis w/ wheel spacers

I'm not sure which AC 911 I'm going to get, hence my question for both 911 and 964. I just sold my 996 so the hunt begins.
